In view of the above situation, we have made corresponding improvements to the electrical control system of the suspension magnetic separator. It is controlled by the PLC module instead, and the time for the start and rotation of the self-unloading belt is set by the central control computer. After the vertical mill is running, the DC excitation circuit of the suspension magnetic separator has been connected to the iron removal, and the self-unloading belt runs every 11 minutes for 1 minute to complete the iron removal. After the improvement, the self-unloading belt will run for 2 hours a day, or calculated according to the power factor of 0.8, and the daily power consumption will be reduced to 9.6kWh. After the improvement, the actual production effect verification can not only meet the production needs, ensure that metal foreign bodies will not enter the grinding, but also reduce the consumption of electrical energy and save electricity costs. At the same time, due to the short operating time of the equipment, the maintenance cost is also reduced accordingly, and the use efficiency is very ideal.
