The Overband Magnet iron remover can be controlled manually at the site. Before the mill starts, the iron remover will be started on site.
When the vertical mill works, the DC excitation circuit of the Overband Magnet iron remover is always on for iron removal, and the unloading belt runs continuously to complete the iron unloading operation. The driving power of the dump belt is 6kW, which is calculated according to a power factor of 0.8. The daily power consumption is 115.2 kWh. During the production process, if no metal is adsorbed on the iron remover, the dump belt still continues to run continuously. , Will cause unnecessary waste of energy. In response to this situation, we have improved the electrical control system of the Overband Magnet iron remover. Instead, it is controlled by PLC, and the start time and transition time of the dump belt are set by the central control computer. When the vertical mill is working, the DC excitation circuit of the iron remover is always connected to the iron remover, and the self-unloading belt runs every 11 minutes for 1 minute to unload the iron. After the improvement, the self-unloading belt will run for two hours every day. Based on the power factor of 0.8, the daily power consumption will drop to 9.6 kWh. The improved self-unloading iron remover can not only meet the production requirements, ensure that metal foreign matter does not enter the grinding, but also reduce power consumption and save electricity costs. At the same time, due to the short working time of the equipment, the maintenance costs have also decreased, and the use effect is outstanding.
